Erik Simon-Lledó

Deep-Sea Ecologist

I study the factors that drive biodiversity patterns and the effect environmental change in very deep, abyssal ecosystems. My research has focused in the use of underwater robots (ROVs and AUVs) and imagery approaches to study the resilience of deep ocean communities to global change and industrial activities like seabed mining.
